Daria Aristova is a postdoctoral researcher at ITQB NOVA with international expertise in expansion microscopy, fluorescent probes, and super-resolution imaging techniques. Her research centers on the intersection of chemistry and microscopy, specializing in combining expansion microscopy with various super-resolution techniques including SMLM and STED. As instructor for the Expansion Microscopy workshop, Daria brings expertise in developing novel cyanine dyes and fluorescent probes for cellular imaging, addressing critical technical challenges of dye compatibility and stability in expansion protocols.
