Ana Leonor Morgado
AI-driven Optical Biology Lab
Ana Leonor Morgado is a PhD student in the Henriques Lab at ITQB NOVA, specializing in the integration of machine learning with super-resolution microscopy techniques. Her research focuses on developing intelligent algorithms to guide and optimize single-molecule localization microscopy (SMLM) experiments in real-time, applying deep learning methods including convolutional neural networks and generative adversarial networks for enhanced imaging. As a workshop instructor for the SMLM workshop, Ana Leonor leads research on how computational techniques revolutionize optical microscopy applications.
